Well yesterday was Christmas and it turned out to be a great one.
Jai and I woke up and opened our presents...which really wasn't that much of a surprise. We had bought them together ahead of time :D However it was the fact that we had wrapped them and even attempted to keep from giving them earlier than yesterday...lol.
One gift that Jai did give to me early was the Ovacue Fertility Monitor. We decided after the last false positive pregnancy test that we would invest in one. It was either the Clearblue Easy Fertility Monitor or the Ovacue Fertility Monitor. Although the Clearblue would've been cheaper in the beginning, but after adding on the cost of buying the testing strips each month that swayed our decision towards the Ovacue.
Here is what it looks like:

I have been using it for the past 5 days and it is already calculating when my ovulation will occur. It has me pegged down as CD 17..which isn't that far off the usual. It will be about another week before I can test to see if it is accurate or not. SO far so good.
Another thing that we are doing is utilizing the fertility test that First Response has put out for women. I got one in a pregnancy test a few weeks ago and decided with this cycle that I would try it. I was very excited to say that the test came out fine and it says I am okay. I took a picture of the test.

The test is read that if the line on the left is lighter than the line on the right...your level of fertility is okay. I was very excited to see the test come out the way it did. :D
Tomorrow we are using a home sperm count test to test Jai. It was actually his idea and I can't wait to see what the results are. Hopefully everything comes out okay.
Okay...I wanted to make sure that I posted tonight. I really want to make this a way for me to share our efforts for conceiving.
Have a great night and Merry Belated Christmas to everyone.
